mommy moment

So Mallorie had a little accident today. I was very frustrated with her and gave her the we know where we go potty lecture. She was giving her good girl little responses of im sorry mommy i wont do it again, i will be good. So i said where do we go potty? of course she said "In the toilet." so i said to her......what makes mommy happy then? She said...."Me! Make a smile mommy." And she gave me a hug. How can you be frustrated with such cuteness.

yup, I fell of the face of the planet

Ok, so it has been a very long tme. much longer even in fact then the time before that i said it had been a long time. So very much has happened since then i dont know how i will ever get caught back up. but i shall try.

Mallorie is doing good. She is still a tiny mite, but she is more then making it up in attitude. I cant believe how grown up she is allready. Only a few more weeks until Preschool starts. She is SOOO excited for it. She is loving the Christmas holliday! We have our tree up and she is just in awe. She even got to pick out her own Christmas ornament today at the store. We now have a pink Flamingo on our tree. It was what she wanted, so what can a mom do.

Mark got a new job. He is now in the Maintenace departement of the LDS Distribution Center. he is over of people and things. yeah i dont really know much about it yet, but he is excited. Only down side is it is not the great hours he has always had. But we will adjust to it.

Nothing new for me. Same old stuff. I am only working at CT now. Long story, most allready know it. If you dont then you can ask. It is nice to only have one job. I am very happy to get to be home with my little bug so much more.

Endoscopy in the morning

So we finally get to take Mallorie in for and Endoscopy(sp). I know many of you would think that this is not something that you would wish on your child, but I want answeres and hopefully this will give us some. Mallorie's refulx is still at its worst and she is on tonz of meds so it shouldnt be, she has constant diarreah and is always coughing. so she may or may not have a host of diseases(non of which are cureable, but all are treatable). But hopefully in the next week or so we will have a better idea of what is going on with our poor little bugs guts.

Wish us luck and keep those fingers crossed

ps-sorry for the lack of photos, but my camera apparantly has been dropped one time to many and has offically died.

wow did i slack off something fierce

Ok, ok, i get the picture. I havent posted in what has now become a very very long time. But thank you to my very small yet loyal readers.
So Mallorie is offically two now. She is 23lbs and 33ish inches. So she is still a tiny mite. But dont let her size fool you. She is a fiesty thing. Every day she becomes more and more independant. She figures that now that she knows her ABC's her shapes and colors and to count past ten that she is a big girl. All you have to do is ask her and she will tell you too.

YEAH!!!! She is potty Trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i guess she is a big girl now.

So its been a bit since i posted last. Not that anyone is actually reading this thing......but hey whey not post again. All seams to be well here for the moment. Mark is half way threw the semester and should get pretty good grades this time. And for those of you who know him well-this is a huge kind of thing for him. Mallorie is doing well. she amazes us more and more every day. She is such a little smartie. i am working on writing down all the words she know and i am well over one hundred and only to the f words(not to be confused though with the f word). she is still a skinny little stick butt....but we like those at our house. she is still on tonz of meds, but we hope to wean her off some of them soon leaving her back Prevacid solely. Her new thing is singing. she knows quite a few and what she doesnt know she just makes up as she goes. I am liking my job at Dan's. it is a fun store to work at. I have lots of coworker friends now and they seam to like me there too. We hope to take mallorie to San Diego this summer due to her love for fish. Yes it is a strange thing to love, but that is her thing of choice.

GREAT products

I thought that i would start a discussion about great products i find. That way i can share the wealth and you can share yours back with me. In NO spacific order....

Britax Car Seats-I LOVE these things. they are so very wonderful. We have a Boulevard and have loved it every minute. These things install in just a couple of seconds and you get a rock solid, shake the car install. Not to mention that you can rear face you kiddo unitl 33(35for the newest ones). and that is soooo much safer then turning them FF. Mallorie loves this seat and the Side Impact wings make great pillows.(www.britaxusa.com)
The mommy cover-for anyone who has tried to nurse a little one who has found that they have fingers and can grab onto things this is soooo wonderful. Mallorie loved to pull at the blanket when i nursed her causeing many near miss embarassing moments. this thing is great! no need to fight the blanket-it just stays in place and best yet, you can see down to the little one. I love how it hooks around you so you dont have to keep tucking it around you hoping to not show from the sides. I am not a good public nurser...but this definatley helps. Plus younger bros. arent quite as embarassed when i use it. OH and they come in such pretty colors too!(http://www.joiaproducts.com)
Bitty bows botique-Great little bows. Made for those who have very very little hair. but they work great for us too we just buy the toddler ones now instead of the baldie versions. Mallorie has a ton of hair and we have been using these since she was tiny. they are soo cute and they stay in so well. she can pull them out now, but they never budged when she was less grabby. Workaholic

So last week SLC hosted So You Think You Can Dance. For those of you who dont know what that is, it is a reality based tv show similar to American Idol only for dancers. It was kind of interesting to see how it all works and how little reality there is in a reality tv show. We worked from 5 or 6 am until midnight. Way too many hours for my liking. But somehow at the end of the week i was still standing(though some may question if pushed i would fall). Mallorie enjoyed playing with Papa, but is making me pay for abandoning her for so long. Oh and she is doing much better now. She is on higher doses of pervacid, a controller asthma type spray, singular, nebulizer meds and emergency inhalor type meds too. It hard to keep them all streight sometimes. but hopefully when the air cleans out a bunch we will be able to come off some of them.
Mallorie can now sing twinkle twinkle little star. as soon as i can figure out how to get it onto my comp. ill post it here. Talk about cute! She knows most of her alphabet by sight and knows what they say. she knows most of her number up to ten and is usually right on with her colors and some of her shapes. She is just too smart for her own britches and for her parents as well.
Mark is still plugging away at school. He's not so fond of his classes, but is liking criminal justice. but i will let him tell you all about that some time if his crazy schedule will ever allow.

Mal. is sick again

so our first offical post for mallorie isnt such a good one. the poor thing has RSV again. She is so very miserable. We are treating it as aggresively at home as we possibly can. Hopefully we can avoid another trip to the hospital. our fingers are sure crossed. she is still as ornery as ever and getting bigger everyday(ok that part is reletive, but she seems big to us). She is so much fun though. this is such a fun age. she learns new things every day and amazes us more and more.
06 hospial stay
07-hospial stay
08-hopefully this is as far as we go

wow we have our own blog

so I have been envious of everyone Else's blogs so i finally got around to getting us our own. I'm sure it wont be as eloquent and entertaining as many others but it will at least keep those who have a desire to be up to date on our life some what current. I'm not sure how good we will be at keeping it updated, but we pledge to do our best.
